Web search in chat, on your organization's terms

A new Web button above the chat input lets the model answer with current information from the web, under your organization’s control. The gateway runs each search on a self-hosted SearXNG broker, keeps only results from domains an administrator allows (blocked domains always win), and shows a numbered Sources list under the reply that survives a reload. The model never browses the internet on its own.

Administrators enable and scope web search under Admin → Web Search — allowed and blocked domains, results per message, and a per-user hourly limit — and can test a query to see which results would reach the model. Searches run in the user’s language, prefer recent pages for time-sensitive questions, and cap each domain so no site fills an answer. Every search is recorded in the audit log without the query text.

No action required. Web search is off until an administrator enables it.
